Speaking of bigger bore throttle bodies, how bout having the stock throttle body re-bored a few millimeters? Would that work?

You'd have to get a larger throttle plate or you'd have one heck of a vacuum leak around the edges of the throttle plate, but that could be doable.

yea one member already tried to bore it out and had to buy another tb. dont think you can convert the jdm tb to ours, but Ive heard that bmw drive by wire tb's work on our fits.

Smile Wow

That thing is loud as hell. Pretty sure those individual throttle bodies on that K20 plus the cat-less straight pipes are making all of that noise...lol. Totally street legal...lol.

The problem with ITB's on the L15 is the driveby wire.
I ported my TB in my Fit. Hahhah! What a bad idea that was. The car responded well to the extra air though. I deff felt a nice power increase.
A high idle and a CEL was the price to pay.

Our TB's stay almost completely closed at idle. To have the TB ported properly send it out and have the liability put on someone else. If they mess up they can buy you the $600 OEM TB I had to buy myself.

Yeah, to do it well I'd have to make some research and buy or design a new butterfly flap to adjust to the boring. I have mechanical engineer friends that can help me do that.

itb's are a pain in the a$$ to work on and tune. It makes your car sound mean but it will give you more headaches than you can imagine. If you want a nice description of how itb's work pick up this magazine You have to be very careful about the positioning of the valves and injectors.

That K20 swap is nice and all, but I think that sound is ridiculous for a daily driver.
