I'm just curious if anyone knows a bit about this set-up. I noticed it at AJ-Racing.com and for it being a "complete" exhaust the price didnt seem too bad ($680) especially compared to the others where a axle-back alone is almost 3/4s that price. Ive heard T1R products are decent but what can i expect from this exhaust?....what kind of gains and sound? id love to hear from someone who has this set-up. Maybe i didnt look hard enough but is there a thread about this exhaust anywhere? any help regarding this would be mucho appreciated.

 

T1R makes some good stuff, I think you're talking about the 50S complete exhaust? It's a pretty good deal for an Axle Back and a B-Pipe. I would have bought it except I didn't like the purple tint on the muffler tip, so I went with a Spoon N1 instead. I think the product itself will be good quality and the sound should not be too loud, you might want to confirm if it comes with an extra silencer or not. i believe it was mentioned in the description that a silencer is included. sound-wise i want something with a nice hum to it that gets a little bit louder upon heavy acceleration.....nothing obnowiously loud though. more than anything im looking for a quality exhaust, and i keep hearing good things about T1R products. im sure the "gains" i would get would be modest and at or around 1 to 3 extra HP.....does that sound about right? as of now im only rolling with a Mugen drop-in which ive enjoyed so far but im ready for the next step.

 

Wave has the exhaust i believe and from what i've seen/heard about it is that it's great. T1R usually makes great products also. Gains should be about 2-5 p too which isnt that bad.

I posted up a video of the T1R 50S exhaust system a while back, quality isn't the greatest but you get an idea of how it sounds. Not too loud with the silencer in, has a nice tone and gets a bit of a growl in the upper RPM.

Heard this exhaust in person with the silencer on, very nice tone and sound, almost as good as my Spoon B-Pipe and Fujitsubo Wagolis

 

appreciate the info guys, im leaning towards this or the Spoon N1 with b-pipe. i hear good things about T1R all over this website, so whether i go Spoon or T1R i know ill end up with something good. ive been looking around for some online stores that carry parts for the Fit and while ive perused all associated with this website are there any others out there???.....some that perhaps offer more??? i keep reading about all these parts people find all around the net but can never seem to find them in any of the stores affiliated with this website.

 

You gotta dig deep sometimes outside of this site to find what you want. Your best bet is AJ Racing. They carry or can get pretty much anything you'll want for your Fit Just depends what you are looking for.
