New T1R V.I.P. installed

VERY sweet. Nice, sophisticated growl-ly tone when you get on it-- quiet at highway cruising.

I didn't realize when I ordered that it exits at an angle, but when I saw it-- wow! I find it to be very classy and at the same time aggressive.

It does not stick out at all, either-- sort of tucked back a bit. Nice.

Installed a T1R carbon intake while at it. In know this is a "been there, seen that" shot, but golly these dress up an engine bay in a hurry!

Thank you!! I am just getting started, really. I am completely addicted!

I actually used to live in Laguna Beach-- on Myrtle st. (N. Laguna right by Rainbow Bicycle) and the later on Center street. Paradise!

Dang... That exhaust does look good. Your pics really help show off the color/quality too.
Probably should have added that muffler to the list when I ordered my other goodies from Ben.

Honestly I am not too familiar with the 350Z sound, but I have an employee that used to have one-a real entusiast too-- so I will ask him.

The sound is really quality though. It gets pretty rowdy when you crank up the rpms, which I think is great and a big part of what I wanted in an axelback. It's quiet when you are just driving normally-i.e. I just took the wife and kids to the store and drove VERY conservatively. We listened to music and did our thing and the in-car sound was not bothersome at all. Louder than stock- yes for sure, but not in a bad way (the Fit is not exactly a Lexus-type quiet cabin to begin with, so we are pretty used to some noise). And when you get on it-- it really let's you know it's there! Which is great for me when I am driving by myself or with just my son and we're having some fun. But by 5th gear and cruising at 75-80mph, it's hardly there.

Plus I just love the look. Mad props to Ben and AJs. I really look forward to doing more business with him.

Blue Cell- Indeed I have been bitten by the tuner bug bigtime! Tony at Skunk2 has me way too seriously considering their new supercharger (due out soon and developed in conjunction with the famous Oscar Jackson (Jackson Racing). There's a killer writeup on it in the last issue of Siphon.
Scary.

I think you'd be my rival if you did all that haha. We'll see how that supercharger works. I'm interesting in all power ups. Final parts for my turbo are coming in roughly 2 weeks. Then I'll beef up the suspension some more. Change set ups so I don't use OEM shocks.

There's a pretty darn good clip in this thread:

The new T1R V.I.P. Muffler and B-pipe in this forum.

I don't currently have a video camera but I'll see if I can borrow one.
