T1R 50s v2 or Spoon N1 help

Okay guys which one should i get? I'm planning to do a full I/H/E with B-pipe... don't want it too loud but i've heard the N1 and its not too bad so loudness aside what will yield better results? I can't find any dyno's with the N1 installed so someone please chime in with some concrete evidence.... i've seen the dynos for the T1R, just wanna see the spoon graph(s)..

personally i love the spoon n1, but if you want a quiet exhaust its definitly not the way to go. if your planning to get a b-pipe, just note that that exhaust is gonna scream, but its a nice scream

Hmmm... so it's loud as hell? Is it one of the louder exhausts in your opinion? and how does it sound with the silencer in?

Btw I think smatts isn't running a full N1 catback. I like both SPOON N1 & T1R 50s Ver2. N1 is the way to go if u don't mind the sound level of it. I personally won't & never used silencer with ANY kinda N1 exhaust coz it looks....stupid.

Aren't you running the 50s V2 now? and why would you say the N1 is the way to go? Is that interms of overall response/power increase? or are you referring to cosmetics? Got any good videos of your N1 while driving

I would use it for when my parents are in town or maybe my girlfriend.. other than that i wouldn't either.. I was running an HKS Hyper 3" with custom 3" piping on my turbo'd integra with the waste gate dumping to atmosphere instead of re-routing to the exhaust.. that was LOUD! fast thou

i use the silencer on my spoon n1 all the time, not a big fan of noise, but until i get the b-pipe the silencer is staying on.. yes i no the b-pipe makes it louder.. personally it comes down to appearance...

see that's what i'm so undecided about.....

i really would like the full spoon exhaust which would run me over 800

but if i get the invidia catback it's 430 shipped and plus i've owned
invidia for my s2000 and i know it will probably sound good

Well based on the review that was posted about the invidia i don't think thats the route for me... "Loudest exhaust" thats a big no... if the Spoon N1 is considered to be one of the louder exhaust i might not go with it but from what i've heard it isn't overly loud.. i'm hoping someone can confirm

i dont think its overly loud, i think it less noisier than the t1r, hks, etc were they have massive 4 or 5" exits...

^ do you hear the above from ppl with b-pipes or no b-pipes?
It makes a huge difference.

I would say from what your comparing the v2 vs n1. I would say the performance is there in both exhausts. If you want a quiet deep tone exhaust, go for the 50s v2. If you want something louder, go for the N1. either way you cant go wrong, so just decide what you want for looks

btw i also drive from edmonton to vancouver 3 times with a spoon exhaust on the highway. at 3-4 rpms. its sounds amazing. lol however when your driving for 11 hours, it gets quite deafining.

Spoon is loud due to its tiny muffler. I also think its a little ugly... My opinion.
v2 is sick. DO IT!

I think silencers are pointless also. Why buy an exhaust if youre not going to use it to its full potential?
Not to mention silencers are UGLY.

I agree the silencer is very ugly thats why i said i'd only use it if i'm taking my parents somewhere or maybe my girlfriend besides that I don't mind the noise as long as it isn't obnoxiously loud... how about this on a scale from 1 - 10 (10 the loudest) rate both exhausts Spoon N1 & T1R V2 oh and throw the J's 50 in there cause i've heard that so i can get a good idea..

Its all in the size of the muffler really. Any canister style muffler will be loud/louder with a B-pipe.
The v2 is a real muffler. Theres plenty of sound deadening material inside of the muffler do keep things low toned.

I havent heard the v2 with a B-pipe. But Ive heard the Spoon with full piping and a cat-delete. Woooh, its loud. It doesnt sound bad, but its too much noise for a slow Fit.

Thats why I hate my Busa mufflers at times. Too much noise and Im not moving.
Hahha! I have 2 resonators also.
My Twin-Loop muffler was quiet. Only really made noise when I got on it. Idle you couldnt hear anything.

ive herd both with b-pipes and with out b-pipes.

If you want pics, in the ajr section, spoonek did a video and photo shoots of it.

ive herd teh v2 with a b-pipe, the sound is very low, quiet and nice.
from 1 being stock, and 10 being some high pitched retardly loud ebay bolt on muffler. i would say its about 3-4. where the spoon i would say would be a 7-7.5
