T1R B-Pipe Help!

I just installed my T1R b-pipe and I think I may of screwed up. In the package, there's 5 bolts, 5 nuts and 2 gaskets. When I took off the part connecting to the b-pipe to the cat, I used the same bolts and NEW nuts. Is that okay? - When I connected my spoon n1 to the b-pipe, I use the old round gasket and two NEW bolts and two OLD nuts which were from the bp -> cat. Is that okay? There's a burning plastic smell, is that normal?

ANOTHER QUESTION: Is the b-pipe suppose to hang a little lower than usual? Because if I go down and sorta look, I can see it dropped down lower and not really tucked in closer to the heat shield. Help?

THIS IS THE T1R 'B-PIPE' - NOT THE TEST PIPE!!

New pipes always has a slight burning smell to burn off some of the oil used to produce the material.

That piping doesn't look right but i dont have the t1r test pipe.. some of our other fitfreaker would steer you in the right direction.

i just put mine in today and it didnt hang that low.check to make sure all the hangars are secure. and that burning plastic smell will go away in 10 to 15 miles of driving. also, i used the og bolts and it was fine. the only problem i had was, the donut of the axleback didnt want to sit in the bpipe properly and the spring bolt was bottomed out, so i put a few extra washers on the other side.

wow that hangs super low. im pretty sure something is installed wrong. I don't think reusing old bolts would cause it 2 hang like that.

good eye dude! i bet thats exactly what he did. although, the hangar wouldnt match to the rubber grommet if that were the case. just to be safe, make sure the T1R badge is facing the ground on the resonator.

Yep, I checked all the hangers and I'm 110% sure the T1R badge is facing the ground. Since I'm going to get my test pipe installed at AJ-R on the 24th, should I just drive it for two weeks and be careful of speed bumps and just get ajr to check it while they install the tp? ?

Will this 'dragging so low' of the b-pipe effect my exhaust manifold?? or warp the studs from the manifold, etc etc.

Is it safe to drive around like this though?? I don't mind driving around like this for two weeks if it's safe, as long it doesn't effect the manifold.

hahaha that would be funny! but i had zero exhaust leaks and everything bolted up nice and tight like it belonged. so high five on two flawless installs and a low hanging b-pipe. did it bother you that for the rear grommet, there was only one hangar?

your car is going to be sooooo loud!!! at least i will have a turbine muffling the sound of a straight downpipe. your engine will be free flowing.

Is it going to be a bit louder when it's finished breaking in and all? I think it's pretty loud already, I set off quite a few alarms but it's still not loud enough inside the car. lol

I went by AJR today and he said I installed it correct - I don't know why, I still have doubts that I didn't. Oh well, I guess I'll drive it until my test pipe install date.

yea the t1r b-pipe/midpipe hangs a little lower than stock. i can't really tell from your picture if it's hanging extraordinarily low though because it's hard to tell what angle you're taking the photo at.

could u maybe back up and lay your camera on the ground and snap a shot so that the pic has a good parallel view of the cars bottom to the ground. I was just about to order this thing but I live behind two speed bumps and I am lowered. I have no problems at all, but if this is super low then I dont know what to do.
