the motor can be installed either way but to install from top, the rad upper mount will be converted from being spot welded to bolt on .

made it in my shop with my tinsmith and a mechanic. the half cut DC5 cost USD$5k. most was installed in the jazz, i also had to buy the LHD DC5 steering rack.

if i were to do a similar swap, it will probably take 3 months.

WOW!!! deep pocket eyy...the engine itself cost as much as a second hand EG hatchback..I'll probably build one of those with a b20 block paired with a b16 head..less buck for almost the same bang...tnx fro the info bro!

Seems to me this whole thing might become easier once the mounts from Hasport and articles are out for it

True said but where the b20 n/a tops out thats where the k20 begins. K-series is the way to go. Expensive but just do it yourself. It doesn't seem that bad.

Bye the way, is it possible to use the DC5 rear brake assembly and spindles(entire brakes) on the fit. Or just only dc, eg, ek stuff. I know that the DC5 brakes just bolt on right?

doesn't seem like it would be that big of a deal. but spacing issues might be caused by using that.......

Thanks for the info. I know that the DC5 suspension is a bitch interms of weight. Everything thats off the RSX/Integras is heavy and built really strong. Did you weigh your car on a scale before and after? If so, what was your previous stock weight (curb weight) and the current weight (with suspension, motor, subframe etc,)?

the width of the mounting plate each is 50mm and will approximate the dc5 rear track.
i had to enlarge the wheel well considerably, if u will notice, the rear doors edges is the circumference of the wheel opening. we removed about 50mm of body metal there

That is just crazy.... I hope once the NA models come out it will help get this swap done easier.
