HPS SRI OR Fujita SRI

Ok so im finally tired of my K&N drop in filter and i've pretty much narrowed it down to the HPS intake which says it nets a 5hp gain and the Fujita SRI because its a reputable company..im also a big fan of the zero 1000 chamber intake... any opinions ? im leaning more toward the Fujita SRI because its position is a little further away from the HEAAAT where as the HPS sit right there on 90 degree bend... Help ?? i want the best SRI for the price..

Unless you are looking at a chamber intake or Cold Air Intake most of the ram ones are going to give you the same performance despite the brand;

Check this thread out, for 40$ you can build your own and it looks just like the expensive ones

big props to sid for that one and i actually stuck an aem filter to the neck of the stock box while the k&n filter was being cleaned, but im just not comfy with the plastic tubing... i beast on my car and im afraid to crack the piping with vibrations..as for cold air.. i've had a friend hydrolock an rsx using a cai (wont say the brand) with a bypass valve and it was a splash up at that.... if u had to choose a SRI what would you pick ?

The two you mentioned are pretty good, I run a Fujita CAI personally and I like that the filter is washable and does not require oiling like the K&N ones.

Stay away from the K&N SRI, it has sever fitment problems and members on this site have had big problems with them over it.

If you have concerns about hydrolocking maybe consider a chamber intake. They give you the benefits of the SRI but also the low end power and way better response.

Good ones to check out would be the T1R Chamber intake & the H-Fit chamber intake.

hahahahaha nice, thats pretty badass, ok as far as hps goes, i love my hps CAI i got awhile back, i love the way it sounds and the performance is pretty strong, you can really feel it when you get up in the 3000/3500 rpms. im tripping too bad on the hydro locking thing bec im just going to buy some extra tubing and direct the air filter upward towards the top on the wheel well (instead of the bottom of it) when it gets close to winter so i wont have to worry too much about hydro locking. plus there isnt too many big puddles around here during winter, and if there is than im just gunna avoid them

Is the PRM going to be available for the AT or is it just and MT intake..what would you guys consider for an AT..I'm thinking of getting an intake but most are only available for the MT..like i wanted to get the PasswordJDM but it only fits the MT..
