HKS Hi-Power Vs. Greddy TiC

Hey Guys. first post here actually. I recently got my '08 Honda Fit and was surprised to see such a large market for them. Awesome, really!

Anywho, I was looking to start getting tuned up with it and was looking at exhaust systems. I'm torn between two currently.

HKS Hi-Power and the Greddy TiC

Was wondering what your thoughts were on these two systems. While I like the cat-back system of the TiC, I was curious of the axle-back system HKS provides. Also, in getting cat-back, would I be getting more for my buck?

Interests - nice deep sound and decent power

I'm pretty sure the TiC is only axleback for the Fit. I would go HKS, but I have a Skunk2 catback 50mm.

The Spoon N1 is pretty nice too.

I'd definitely go with Skunk2 if they still made the 50mm piping. Everywhere I check online, I'm only able to find the 60mm. Don't want that since I'm not doing an FI until my warranty is almost up.

the Greddy is only an axleback. I have it on my car, and i love it. It has a low tone to it and is quiet under regular driving. But in WOT it just roars. I'm pretty sure both exhausts are similar like that but i liked the Burnt Tip look in the TIC as opposed to the Hi-Power.

Any real benefit to going Cat-back rather than Axle-back?

Ofcourse theres always the benefit that theres more flow in the back of the car resulting in a few more ponies. Sound also gets louder but at the end of the day the fit will still be pretty slow.

Now if you were to go FI someday, i'm sure a catback would be way better.

Well, I'm definitely going FI in the future, but not for a while. Just trying to start with the basic mods, as my Fit is bone stock atm.

I picked up the 50mm brand new from a guy on here for $290. If I didn't get that deal I was going to get the Spoon N1 but then I'd have to shell out another $700 for the bpipe ;/

you may have to find a supplier with an overstock of the 50mm or a used one because skunk2 only makes the 60mm catback now. good luck

I have the aspec and i love it. basically the same things as the HKS and Greddy, and its got the burnt-tip like the Greddy. Its also got that slight angle to it, if you like the angled look. Sound wise, its got that deep tone like all the N1 style exhausts and even at WOT its not that loud. Besides, you cant beat the price
