Product descriptions are minimal at best. But they're "out of stock" so someone ought to have it. I'm curious

JET chips have been around for a very long time. Iirc, JET stands for Jones Electronics Technologies. Anyway, I used a JET chip on the ECU of an '87 Ford Bronco II and it made a dramatic difference in performance with added power that could be felt, and a small increase in fuel economy. I used the chip for ten years with no problems at all.

There is a huge difference in engine technology between '80s Fords and today's Hondas. I am happy to see that among performance chip makers for cars, that JET is among the first to address the Honda Fit. When my budget permits, I will look further into this as a mod.

I wonder the same thing- that's why I didn't say "Wow! I'm going to order one right now!". Want to get more info., but JET made very good products in the past.

EDIT: On the JET web site, I don't see any reference to any 2009 Hondas at all, so my interest is in waiting for them to add products for '09s. For the 1st. Gen. Fits, good luck. Please post if you buy anything made by this manufacturer. As I said previously, my experience with them years ago was extremely good.

Part # 65001 on the Jet website. It's not a piggyback, but rather for $329 you would send your factory ECU, tell them your mods and they'll reprogram accordingly. Like others have said, they've been around for a while now so they have a pretty good reputation.

Btw...I only found the applications by looking it under an '07 Fit...

FYI to the people that may purchase. This probably only shows the 07 because the 08 ecu is different and has a firewall that must be passed in order to flash it and have it work properly.

well that is an interesting fact chris.
does this firewall have any effect when working with a piggyback system then?

that makes sense but i am curious if everyone having problems with the oem ecu overpowering the piggyback owns an 08 rather than an 07.
i will be FI in a month and we will see how it goes i guess.

well i know because we reflashed my ECU from the 07 to the 08 with Hondata and found the new firewall added in the 08+ Hondas... Hondata cracked it and now it works perfect.

I had a JET chip on an older car of mine in the 90's. You could definately tell the difference. I'm joining the bandwagon on this one. I would love to hear what they can do!!

Would love somebody to reprogram my ECU to ignore the "low flow EGR"

I wonder what they can do?
