yeah definitely, it's kind of weird to think you pretty much profit just for buying a fit.

but it is hard to find NEW GD since they don't make it no more.

If you consider to do k swap from AT to MT the going to run you $15K min. not just the parts is about the labor.

An acquaintance of mine swapped the AT in his M3 to a MT and it cost him 10 grand. Granted his car is a BMW... I would think even on a Fit... the swap would cost you quite a bit. Adding a K20 swap would obviously cost as you as much as it would for you to get another Fit. In my opinion... I would just trade in your car first for a MT Fit. Then again... I got to respect how much you love your Fit to go through all that. K20 or turbo... AT or MT... I'm pretty sure your Fit is going to bada$$.

Good to hear to love your GD.

I mean you really have to think what you want to do before you step in.Once you get in don't look back.

Just go boosted! If you want a k20 you should just get a used DC5 type-S for the same price the swap would cost you. lol.

This is pretty much the most sensible way to go.

I've gone for rides in gettinafit's K20 powered Fit as well as another friend's AT - MT trans conversion with engine swap Fit. Both vehicles were ridiculously awesome!

My KWSC is likely the "slowest" of the bunch but I'm already doing way better than any stock/lightly modded naturally aspirated Fit.

how much gain in hp with the base setup, and are there any mods for it to make it faster? (i'm seriously considering this setup for the reliability lol)

you'll basically make what the fits engine is rated at TO the wheels after the base supercharger intall, so basically about 30hp more AND even more importantly a nice boost of about 30lb-ft of torque. (some a/t guys dynos have shown even more than that when they were using their shift paddles. the fit needs more torque than hp anyway.)

i always had a rule of thumb that regardless of the size or type of car, another car would have to have about 20hp more than yours for you to feel like that other car was 'faster'. its a broken logic, but it works pretty well. and with this kit, you'll have 30.

i've done the calculation, and adding the supercharger to the a/t fit would be like having 140 engine producing horsepower, (like the new civics), and about 135lb-ft of torque. And the civic is faster out of the box than the fit is, so imagine that power in a car that weighs about 150lbs less.

not to mention that unlike the civic, which maxes out its torque close to redline, the fit will have more torque down low and in the midrange, furthering its 'go fast' feeling.

have you considered just swapping a m/t into your fit so that more boost options become availble? if you kept your l15 and just got a new tranny, you could go turbo with less worries on tranny wear, or you could opt for the hondata and highboost versions of the kwsc.

lightweight wheels. sticky tires.

I can't wait for spring. I'm running 14" steel wheels with snow tires. I'm dying to reinstall my 16" SSR Type C's with summer compound tires.

So uh... I'm pretty new to this forum thing, but I own a 08 Fit sport A/T and was planning to do the usual trifecta (intake, catback, ecu) and was wondering if there are any proven "bests" out there, or if it's even advisable. I love my Fit, but the lack of power is a little bit painful. I went to a shop called INline Pro around where I live, and they pretty much do s2k's. I asked about my car, and the mech. I talked to estimated it to be around 13k for the whole thing. Not planning on selling- I love the car too much.

Is it worth it? puting in the trifecta that would probably cost me around 2-3k? And as you guys suggested, a SC would be what? I'm guessing another 2-3k? I really don't want anything to happen to my car.. so the trannny wear mentioned above is making me hesitant. Help?

the kraftwerks wont hurt your tranny.. if you wanna be extra cautious, then just get a tranny cooler..
