Greddy spectrum elite
Before I go any further let me explain why. My 2007 Sport A/T has:
- KraftWerks 5PSI Supercharger Kit and upgraded injectors.
- J's Racing Header
- Megan Test Pipe (necessary with injector upgrade)
- J's Racing Mid-pipe
- A'pexi World Sport II axleback.
For those of you that were keeping track, I originally had a J's Racing FX axle-back but it was waaaaaaaay too loud for daily driving in my humble opinion.
Thats when I switched to the A'pexi WS II, which I believe is a chamber type muffler, and it did a great job of turning down the exhaust volume to acceptable levels at all RPM's.
I eventually stumbled upon this thread and decided to try the Spectrum Elite in an attempt to further quiet the exhaust note. Upon opening the Greddy box you'll find a nicely packed axleback that is absolutely gorgeous to look at. The muffler body is significantly smaller than the WS II which had me thinking, "Uh-Oh".
After installation I took it for a ride. Turning the key produces a very mellow, almost stock sound, unlike the WS II which needs to be fully warmed up before it works at turning down the exhaust tone. However once you accelerate and go anywhere past 3K RPM's....WAKE UP WORLD!!!!!

Keep in mind I have a testpipe so it's already a loud car to begin with. Had my Fit been naturally aspirated or still had the cats installed I suspect the Greddy Spectrum Elite cat back would be very nice.
As it stands right now, I'm gonna' give it a week of drive time to see if my opinion changes otherwise I'm going back to the WSII. This is my opinion and experience with my car, your experience may vary.

I must be getting old at 36.
Try to imagine a stock exhaust sound with the catylitic convertor removed for a test pipe. Lots of drone on the inside, raspy as hell, more than likely annoying as hell(GO RICER GO!) to fellow motorists. That's what my exhaust sounds like.
It's probably mellow and smooth sounding if you're naturally aspirated and NOT running a test pipe but I'll never know.

- I personally think it looks "stealthier" than the WSII from behind. The muffler body doesn't scream hey look at me unlike the large muffler body of the WSII.
- The muffler tip of the Greddy SE extends just past the body kit of USDM cars unlike the WSII and J's Racing which ends just short of the USDM body(but would be perfect on a JDM body kit!)
- I'm positive the Greddy SE would sound great on a car that does not have a test pipe installed but unfortunately I have one installed.
I really like the Greddy SE:
