Injector install help

OK, I'm at the point of installing my RDX injectors....how far do I need to take the top engine part off? It looks like the black plastic intake runners need to come off...but what about the metal part of the runners....do they need to come off as well?

you dont really have to take off the plastic plenum, just the metal runners to get good access to the injectors
