T1R testpipe?

T1R testpipe?

Thinking of buying a used t1r testpipe for my fit. Since im a newbie on these exhaust pipes, can the pipe be easily installed? which part do i need to take out to replace the testpipe? any other cons and pros ? THANKS!

Hey there,

All you need to do is get a pair of 12mm and a pair of 14 mm wrenches and you'll be good to go for the installation.

Definately more pros than cons if you decide to replace the stock cat with a more free flowing test pipe. You'll gain a few ponies, and you'll also get a slightly louder and more aggressive tone from you exhaust setup.

The only con I can see, is if you live in a place which has a very strict emission law since you'll have to replace the test pipe with a cat when you go for emissions testing if applicable.
