turbo

Does anyone know of a fit that has a turbo? If so what are the spec and how much boost are they pushin, and if they have internal work.

aziatiklover 05-14-2006 03:07 AM

I think u can do custom turbo for it........ haven't seen any so far tho....

dougiepants 05-14-2006 11:32 AM

Only in Japan that I know of and in Europe aswell...

tonymontalvo 05-14-2006 01:08 PM

custom is the way to go for now. we'll get them eventually down the line.

FitDaddy 05-15-2006 04:29 PM

anyone know what the limitations of the stock internals are with boost? or can anyone tell me the specs on the pistons/rods/etc ? thanks

http://www.topfuel.info/parts_catalo...t-turbo_eg.jpgTop Fuel Japan makes a turbo kit.

Bukwheat 05-16-2006 08:13 AM

That sure is purdie!!! The only thing about these JDM kits is the premium you have to pay (in comparison to USDM's). :P ....I can wait for Greddy's. :)

Fillmatic 05-16-2006 08:34 AM

Top fuel kit is 2850 plus shipping.

^^....that was my other concern. :) But man, that's a REAL clean looking kit! ;)

well is the compression ratio good for a turbocharger on a fit?

That's a good question, does anyone know the compression ratio? Too high and a Turbo won't work well enough.
A supercharger might be the way to go anyway, no lag then.

PaganFit 05-21-2006 07:52 AM

Thanx for the info... Looks like it might be ok for a turbo after all. 10.8 is getting up there. I still think the supercharger might be the way to go. Carb issues with inspection emissions here in the states is a big problem so we'll have to wait and see.

P.S. Claymore, are you really a bomb tech? That is a really funny quote either way!:)

aziatiklover 05-21-2006 09:47 AM

turbo and just hope hondata will have something anytime soon for us to tune it

Tomh 05-21-2006 10:37 AM

Comp ratio for U.S. models is 10.4:1, personaly i wouldn't like taht for a turbo setup, though with that high there would be no turbo lag, lol.
