turbo

Does anyone know of a fit that has a turbo? If so what are the spec and how much boost are they pushin, and if they have internal work.

I think u can do custom turbo for it........ haven't seen any so far tho....

anyone know what the limitations of the stock internals are with boost? or can anyone tell me the specs on the pistons/rods/etc ? thanks

That sure is purdie!!! The only thing about these JDM kits is the premium you have to pay (in comparison to USDM's). :P ....I can wait for Greddy's.

thats nice, but it might not be CARB legal...and there might be differences with how it FITs

well is the compression ratio good for a turbocharger on a fit?

That's a good question, does anyone know the compression ratio? Too high and a Turbo won't work well enough.
A supercharger might be the way to go anyway, no lag then.

Thanx for the info... Looks like it might be ok for a turbo after all. 10.8 is getting up there. I still think the supercharger might be the way to go. Carb issues with inspection emissions here in the states is a big problem so we'll have to wait and see.

P.S. Claymore, are you really a bomb tech? That is a really funny quote either way!

Comp ratio for U.S. models is 10.4:1, personaly i wouldn't like taht for a turbo setup, though with that high there would be no turbo lag, lol.
