custom turbo build

im thinking of making my own turbo build for my ge8 since there is none....
what exactly do i need to make one except of course a turbo
what size does the turbo need to be does it matter.

Injectors 310cc
turbo pipe
any ecu example "greddy emanage"
intercooler
any bov and use internal wastgate in turbcharger or external wastgate

ok sweet
no bigger turbo can be handled by the l15a right

the housing size is t25 correct

first, you have to pick a turbo that's suitable for the L15a1 engine. then, you would have to plan how you would like to locate the turbo. configure so that your pipes will have enough clearance.
make a list of all the parts needed for the setup.
choose a management system, emanage, aem, etc. get it all tuned.

how bout a 16g from a dsm and dsm injectors, custom mani and piping to cheap/used intercooler. but no knockoff bov

you should utilize the space for the factory airbox. relocate the battery. then you would have enough space to put in a top mount turbo with enough clearance for easy maintenance. I dislike how all the turbo kits use the tiny space behind the engine.

if i did get the 16g the big one
then would the intercooler have to be the 2g one on the dsm site
and ill get a super sqv for bov
but piping and a mani should i get this custom from a shop
i cant weld
