i have a 2003 gd3 and i was wondering if the axle backs are interchangeable between that and a 2005 gd3

Yes, as long as the axle back is for a GD and the rest of your exhaust is factory or bent in the factory positons, they will be swapable. The only way they won't is if you try to use the axle back portion of a cat back (say Skunk2 or Invidia) with your OEM B-pipe since the cat back is designed only to work with as a complete unit by that manufacture.
