i just ordered a meth kit for my car and im installing it next weekend, where does everyone get theyre methanol? i ordered snow performances "boost juice" to start me off but im looking to save some money if i can

I use the snow performance boost juice but there was a period when i had trouble ordering it, so i used regular windshield wiper fluid (no glycol and none of that eco-crap). basic windshield wiper fluid is what you can use, since it is just methanol and water, but it might not be the ratio you want, like 49/51~50/50, 80/20,.. etc.

 

How do you tell what wiper fluid is what ratio? I've been looking whenever I'm in pep boys or auto zone and they don't say on the bottle they just say the temp that they can handle?

 

Most windshield wiper fluids are around 40% methanol, the one i used was the basic advanced auto wiper fluid. Pretty much any one of those, (pep boys, advanced, etc) is going to be 40ish% meth, 59ish% water, and a dye (just for color, like how boost juice is red, advanced is blue, etc.) They sell other brands that have bug remover stuff and rain resistants, glycol and detergants. Do not buy those. i know i said that before but eh.
As long as the bottle says "warning: contains methanol" and doesnt say anything special added, it should be good.

also you could make your own meth/water mix.
HIPERFUELS.COM sells 99.95% meth quarts for around 5.80$. gallon for 8$
50/50 with distilled water and you're good to go.
I'm thinking about doing this because it would really be just meth and water, no dye.
just don't go pouring meth on yourself...
