Not really, it definitely gets louder but still stays deep and within a reasonable range and is nothing like those fart-y rice tin can-o-bees ghetto mufflers.

I'm going to get some help installing my intake today since I recently had surgery on my hand so it's just sitting in the box taunting me.

I'll snap some pics later.

This exhaust with an intake gives it a very nice aggressive sporty sound. The exhaust is engineered to stay under 93 Db to stay compliant, and its got a really deep tone to it. This is probably the best bang for the buck out there. I don't have a picture hosting thing, so if anyone wants to PM their email I will email pics to you so you can see it installed.

It's at it loudest between 4,500-5,500 RPM and tapers down from there at WOT. Barely any "rice" to it at all.

I will try to get one from the rear where it is straight on, cause it is a *bit* big if you catch it eye level, otherwise, I think it looks great.

To be honest, there are a couple of other websites that have them for 300...corsport is carrying it for 300 I believe. I have had it for over a week and had no regrets whatsoever. The reason I believe it is so cheap is like the OP said, the had them produced and never marketed them and are now selling them, or maybe they are of the mind that a good exhaust doesn't need to cost a ton of money. The welds do not look "pretty" IMO, but I don't buy an exhaust for it's pretty welds. It looks good and sounds 10x as good as it looks.

Here is the link to corsport, it has a different write up than the LSD website.

CorSport: Honda - 2007-2008 Honda Fit - L350-W100P

So to be honest, I don't why it is so cheap, I am just thankful it is.

I had a feeling they were going to do this. Luckily I got mine for the sale price. Had it now for 7 months and I still love it. Such a low tone and still holding up strong.

Apparently the LSD Motorsports web site has the deal again on this exhaust 99 plus shipping. Not bad. Was thinking going with a Tanabe Concept G but can get this one for a little bit less and get the 93db or below sound.
