Fits the USDM fit perfectly.
This is the summit 7075, not the weaker aluminum.

got a link man? looks awesome can you notice a diffrence?

LiL Wee FIT 07-06-2006 11:56 PM

No comments on the difference it made? (if any?)

Jimmy101 07-07-2006 12:15 AM

Makes a good difference, I say better then an air intake.
Good power increase all around, especially in the upper rpms 4k+.
Pedal feels much lighter, acceleraters quicker! should improve mpg.

what about the AC? does it make it not blow as hard or does it blow hotter? also i tried to find the product and could not.. do you have a link?

LiL Wee FIT 07-07-2006 12:25 AM

Totally not familiar with pullies,

But how does it work and whats are the cons to this?

Jimmy101 07-07-2006 12:31 AM

It does not underdrive like unorthodox pullies, its the same size
as stock. So no effect on the alternator or a/c!
Its made by summit racing in Taiwan.

Paulo107 07-07-2006 12:35 AM

cool! how much? put the site up yo!!:D

Jimmy101 07-07-2006 12:37 AM

Less weight on the crankshaft to turn, free's up loss hp.
cons: ur engine might blow up...

aziatiklover 07-07-2006 01:34 AM

looking good

Installation tip: make sure your engine is fully warmed up. Its almost impossible to loosen the pulley bolt on a cold engine.

07Fit00S2K 07-07-2006 02:02 AM

How hard was it to remove? I got the pulley removal tool for the S2K. Wonder if I would need one for the Fit.

Jimmy101 07-07-2006 02:17 AM

Took about 5 mins to do, I used an electric impact wrench.
Then I loosened the alternator belt adjustment,
and off it came, don't loose the key!
I applied some antiseize or you can use some grease to the inside of the pulley. Then torqued it to 45 ft/lbs.

No need to remove the wheel or completely remove side plastic engine cover. Turn the wheel right, and remove
the 2 push pins on the side cover, and theres your pulley bolt. Remember, to warm up your car, before attempting
to remove the bolt!

Jimmy101 07-07-2006 03:26 AM

It has timing marks.
No special tools needed. 19mm socket, 1/2 rachet or impact wrench
is all you need. IF you think you need that special honda tool, you can always stick a screw driver in the stock pulley to keep it from turning.

Took 1 week to get it from Jazz.

So now we can confirm it fits the fit... All engines sizes, including USDM fit, as well as the honda city.

So how does your car feel now

sLiVeRwOrM 07-07-2006 09:20 AM

Still waittng for some kind of a link man...

gsilvers 07-07-2006 09:25 AM

How is a pulley supposed to blow up your motor? I thaught that was an issue with older and cheaper motors where balancing was bad and the pulley really needed a harmonic balancer? I also thaught it was mostly an issue with very high revs that the L will not be hitting. Anyone else have more info?

gettinafit 07-07-2006 10:48 AM

WHERE DID YOU GET IT FROM!!!! I.E. Link to the site or a phone number or something!!! What is the part number and the price!!!!

Tks much!

dougiepants 07-07-2006 11:36 AM
