Will the Spoon sports mufflers melt the bumper on the NA Fit?

Doubtful...I can't see our little 1.5ltr heating it up very much.
...and it points downwards away from the bumper.

I have sold 8 so far and none of them has any issues about melting the bumper.

How loud is the Spoon N1 on the Fit? I've heard the N1 mounted on an S2K from a BMI dvd, and it was louder than the average without the silencer.

I tend to agree with GoFit: I don't think a normally aspirate FIT 1.5 doesn't create quite enough heat. My Accord V6 aftermarket mufflers (horrible Ractive) are about 1/2 in BELOW the bumper cover and it only gets hot but doesn't melt. However, the more gas you burn (supercharger, larger headers, downpipe, cat-back, TURBO) the hotter things will get?!

I wish my Ractive mufflers on my Accord had a silencer

I just installed one for 10 days. no blacken. Sound little bit loud to me, but I think most people can accept it.

Aside from the exhaust note, any performance gains? Can you feel a difference?
