i picked up a motor today from a buddy, i just want to know a lil more about what i got, what car they are from etc...

block is stamped with k24a4, RAA
head is stamped with PRB-1 that was really the only stamp i saw

i picked up a disassembled block, came with the rods, main caps, girtle, oil pan, timing chain, tensioner, oil pump, pistons. the head is complete minus cams, valve cover and all the bolts in marked bags.

i plan on building it up over the next couple years find a 6 speed then throw it in the 08 fit.

i paid $250 for all, plus an evo 10 intercooler he just gave me lol.

K24a4 is out of the accord 03-05 $250 for all that really isn't bad if it's in good condition.

 

yeah, its all there, bolts everything even old bearings. im sending out the block this week for a hot tank and overall inspection. im pretty sure the cylinders will need a hone, but if thats it, im happy!

 

160 HP 160 FT/LBs. It's not a bad little motor. Little bit of work and you could get the numbers up enough to be "interesting" to say the least.

 

$250 for all that is a real nice pick up.
