I'm installing a kraftwerks base kit into my 07 fit 5 speed and have gotten to the part where I need to bend the brake lines out of the way. Can anyone give me some advice on this part of the install? I've bent the two first lines (The smaller ones) and I'm on the larger ones now that go to the rear brakes. I was running out of daylight so I've given up until tomorrow.

I used a couple of 1"X2" boards when bending mine... That is the most time consuming part of the installation, just be patient and have a few beers while you figure it all out..

 

Thanks for the reply! I will be going out to attempt the bottom two brake lines in a bit here. I guess worst case scenario is I bend one and I have to get someone to repair the line.

 

Just to update the thread, a friend of mine who works in heavy duty mechanics came over and bent the remaining lines for me. I was amazed at how much you could bend those things. I just finished the install yesterday and I'd recommend for anyone doing the install to remove the passenger axle and work from underneath the car. It made the install pretty simple.
