Fit with a CBR exhaust

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if it could be done, and if so, how it would sound. Then I did some research on what's out there and was shocked! We already pay a hefty sum for our cat-back exhaust systems, but check out the prices on this exhaust from Moriwaki Engineering:

I just don't want my Fit to sound too deep, maybe a more mechanical, sport bike like exhaust sound, but at those prices...

I ran a stock Hayabusa can on my buggy and it sounded sweet! I picked up the silencer at a bike shop for twenty bucks! The engine was 2276cc.

Keep in mind that that's an Australian site, so the prices are in Aussie dollars which is why they're so high. Exchange rate as I write this 1.31 Aussies for 1 USD, so $949 AU is about $725 US.

Thanks for pointing that out Chikubi. Still, sticker shock! If you think about it, they are just glamourized pipes made to look pretty How can they cost so much money? Must be that pretty finish

MURZ, your buggy looks like it means business How much was the Hayabuza can if you don't mind me asking?

Twenty bucks at a bike shop. the stock cans are cast aways for the bike tuner crowd. The hayabusa uses a three bolt flange that is the same pattern as many common header flanges. I just welded a flange to my pipe and bolted on the "can". I also have a stinger that can been bolted on in place of the can if I want to razz the neighbors.

"MURZ, your buggy looks like it means business" 160hp and 1100lbs =high 12's HEHEHE

Probably won't put a bike exhaust, but I don't want to have a loud, huge gaping muffler either.
