You can drive under 60 MPH or over 80 MPH.. That's the only thing I've come up with other than wearing earplugs.

I've read that the Megan Axleback is pretty quiet, but not in this instance? How is it at other times?

I'm hoping to score a T1R mid pipe myself. Curious how the sound will be with my current set-up: MR header, down pipe, and random axle back. Its fairly quite now but i'm sure the mid pipe is really going to increase the sound.

Megan axle back is very quiet...I bought a used one and it is not bad on the highway. Part of my commute to work is highway, and it's very tolerable. Heck my wife does not even notice it

Are you still running the stock midpipe, header, or cat?

It depends on which MR muffler you use. The Apex-i N1 style will droan vs the WS style which is very mellow. Gives our L15 a sound more like a stock K20.

Even with a MR header, downpipe, and aftermarket muffler (ebay) my Fit was pretty quiet. The midpipe was OE and really robbed the power and kept it quiet. I am in the process of changing the exhaust system.

The new set-up will be the Weapon R race header, MR midpipe, and my ebay muffler (it's kinda like a knock of j's. Love the turn down exhaust tip). It's gonna be LOAD AS HELL I'm sure.

Yes I should have stated that, but the guy I bought that axle back from had a test pipe with the axle back...he said it sounded more aggressive and not so raspy. I might be getting a test pipe, but in order to get it I might have to give up my cat and that I don't if I want to do that

Be careful on replacing from the OE header back. Your mpg is going to drop and the sound is gonna be louder. Either keep the cat or do the whole exhaust system. I'd advise a retune as well with Hondata.

I decided not to do it...it was trading my cat for the pipe. I wanna keep my stock parts
