Just put on intake, now CEL, help

its a power adder shortram, i got the sensor in the back mounted with a groumet and drilled in place. I put a breather filter on the copper tubed crank case and whatever that other pipe is over the end. Does that have to go into the intake?

Where the blue filter is, it was connected to the stock intake box. So I don't think it matters if you installed it to the aftermarket intake or not. I put a blue filter on that spot too..

You are sure you have air flow can pass into this filter ???

Try ecu reset (disconect - baterie 10min), or read dtc code with odb2 reader.

If I could read a OBD2 code, would I just clear it or resetting the ECU is needed (disconnecting the battery)?

maybe its due to the sensor location, cars can be picky! and it looks like an ebay intake.. on the suzuki 04+ there is no way you can put an intake on that car w/out throwing a CEL.. so mabye its the quality of the intake?

Did you see my intake? It's like putting PVC pipes together. Didn't throw a code at all. I'm actually enjoying the power..

Reset your ecu by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting. If its still on after that check your MAF sensor and make sure it didnt get any grease/dirt on it.

Mine actually saved all the stations and settings after I unplugged the battery.

Maybe if a Moderator hadn't moved my HOW TO intall the INJEN intake into a thread about an exhaust he would have had the basic instructions on how to remove the negative battery cable first...just a thought.

honda doesnt use MAF that sensor that you see is the air temp sensor.
I dont see anything wrong with the set up but go pull a code see what code the car is throwing and go from there

Don't even bother pulling the code, reset the ECU first, it could have just been an all of a sudden thing...reset it...it probably won't come back on.

My bad used to my old xb...used to happen to so many owners and that was the usual problem. I still suggest resetting the ecu though.

If you disconnect the IAT sensor and reconnect, a DTC code come.
That's possible it's it.
