Plug "upgrade" for L13A

Hi folks,

The standard recommended plugs for this are:
NGK BKR6E-11 or Denso K20PR-U11

I have heard it said here that the IK22 are a worth while upgrade and should improve power and economy.

Is this true considering they have a 0.8mm gap rather than a 1.1mm gap. Good for higher revs for sure but better low RPM fuel economy??

I can always just go for the IK20s for a bit more longevity...

Are there any hard facts dyno outputs, economy runs etc, to back this up or is this just conjecture?
