Does anyone know how I can give 4 degree advance please;

Hi there.
My Jazz is byfuel. Before one year I pun an LPG kit and now runs LPG. Because this fuel need more time to burn it self I must add about 3-5 degree advance.
Does anyone know how I can do that?
thanks

Thanks but, this will effect on valves only. I do not need it.
I need to intervene on the spark plug timing (advance).
I mean I want to adjust the motor to burn the fuel earlier about 4 degrees.

you may need to find out if hondata has programing that will allow you to change advance. I would look for an electronic soultion before you try a mechanical one.

I don't think that there is a mechanical solution in this case! When you used to turn a distributor, you were changing the ignition timing! And that is what you are looking to do, not change engine timming! Messing with engine timming would be bad! U need a computer solution! hope this helps!

Unfortunately my car has not distributor so I can not adjust the timing advance for there.

Unfortunately hondata has not any program yet
us I asked in my country.

Unfortunately I look under of my car and I saw the timing sensor that is beside of pulley and is NOT read the pulley but it reads a cogwheel INSIDE of engine.

Smile Let me clarify!

I said the above, with knowledge that we no longer have distributors. Hence,
:"When you USED to turn a distributor, you were changing the ignition timing!"
WHen i said, "
that is what you are looking to do"
I meant changing ignition timing.

Just re-read it again slowly, you'll get it!

Sorry if I confused you. I was just elaborating that you can not do that and you must go the electronic way!

There really isn't much engine aftermarket performance modification products available yet for the L-series motors that you are correct. We're all waiting! Personally I'm waiting for the K-series mount kit to come out, then I'm scrapping the L-series!
