Fuel rail is done and will be anodized blue. 3/8 fuel line as well.

Waiting for cat cam custom grind.

Stainless Intake valves. Iconel exhaust. Stainless springs.

Custom made bronze valve guides and keepers.

Next week he is boring out the block and clearancing the rods.

Still waiting on the adjustable cam gear. He was going to cut out the inside and replace with an adjustable piece but it is hardened steel so he will make one and have it hardened after.

Axles will be done in a couple of weeks.

Engine should be back in the car when the axles are back.

Then he needs to make a custom header, intake manifold, piping, etc... Then time for tuning
30 % more flow, that's great! I'm also interested in this adjustable cam gear, will they do a group buy perhaps?

Yeah, this is the figure I can't get out of my head. I'm wondering what this translates too.

Head was sent to be flow tested and returned with a cnc program. They cut the head themselves on a cnc machine and also had to do some hand porting around the inner bends.

Good choice! I've been happy with mine for the last 50K.

They are keeping things very secret as they want to surprise me when it is done. I feel like I am on a TV show. Here is what I have been told but unfortunately no pics yet.

- they had cut an extra groove in the stock cam gear hoping it would avoid having to make a fully adjustable one but when they dialed it in it was still retarded by 3 degrees...so they are making one after all.

- the engine was assembled...and then reassembled because the quench wasn't to their liking.

- block and tranny are supposed to have been powder coated. Not sure what color though.

- fog lights were removed and housings were made to ram air into the blowers...plural

- 2 piece BILLET intake manifold and valve cover are being made.

- the TB will be relocated to the front of the engine bay...hidden underneath the manifold.

I hope by the end of the month to have her back but not sure yet...

Haha, I know that feeling waiting for engine projects to be complete. Hopefully everything is on budget. And please ask them to make a few adjustable cam gears for us other L junkies.

They already know that people are interested. But it will not be cheap. People need to call them and express interest.

They cut it from a 75lb block of T6061 aluminum. Made it in plastic first to check for fitment with their mockup motor in my car.

Working on the valve cover now...

That CAD image of the intake manifold makes me want ITBs.

Keeping an eye on this thread for progress. Definitely interested in adjustable cam gears.
