Hahah I am going to get it too. Just don't know when yet. Glad to see another Orlando owner with the same taste.

What is honda's policy on headders, do the void the factory warranty or what, because I plan on getting them.

Was the install hard, I have done headders swaps on B and D series engines before, is this one gonna give me problems???

Thanks

As for voiding the warranty ONLY if honda can PROVE that the part you installed caused a problem with your vehicle.

I installed mugen headers last weekend and on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being hardest) i would give it a 6. Only because of limited room. I did not have a lift and while the bolts were easy to see they were hard to get leverage on to remove.

For those who have installed either the Mugen or Megan headers, can someone measure the OD on the primaries and report the difference between the stock part? I wonder if they are the same...looking at pics of the stock header, it appears to be a 4-1 and although there are some crimps in the primaries as they join the collector, it doesn't seem to be that big of a bottleneck. The only thing that stands out at me is the difference in tube length between the stocker and, say, the megan header (shorter primary runs to collector).

The OD of the Mugen headers is 4 and 3/8 inches. I will measure the OD of the stock ones tonight.

4 inches for the primary tubes??? Seems like they would be more or less 1.5 inches. I can't even see the collector being 4.375 inches!

EDIT: OK, I'm guessing you're referring to circumference not diameter... 4.375 would give 1.4" outer diameter which makes much more sense..

Stock exhaust manifold OD is 1 and 1/8 inches. circumference is a tad over 4 inches. That makes the mugen header primaries 1/4 larger! Plus the additional length that runs all the way down to the collector.

You offering to pay for it Butt dyno is amazing. King motorsports said they dynoed the mugen headers and gained 10HP but good luck getting them to put up some results on this forum.

Sweet setup bro! Looks nice. I was surprised too that there was no noticable sound difference on idle. I did notice that when in "S" mode and i let her rip there is a high pitched whine kind of like a SC but very subtle. Didn't notice it as much in "D" but in "S" it is audible. Do you have a similar tone. Maybe it is the pulley but i didn't notice it before.

Can't wait to see it in person this sunday!

Yeah that seems about right based on the butt dyno.
