there has been alot of confusion surrounding this. mugen does make a header for the Fit GD3 and the Fit Aria GD8 with the o2 bung. Ben from AJR posted a while back that he had test fitted the mugen headers for the GD8 and they fit. Turns out that the one he tested is also the same on that i have.

In the instructions that came with them they fit like 6 different models. The fit GD3 is one of them.

Waiting to hear your review!

How's it sound?
How does the ass-dyno like it?
Get any challenges at a stoplight yet?

Mugen Equipped!

Sooooo Sexy! I installed the headers this morning. Fits like a glove! When i started her up i was expecting it to sound different under the hood. To my surprise it was just as quiet as before until you step on the gas They look amazing and very nice performance. The bolts were a pain in the ass to get off for me. not much room in there for a torque wrench either

Then i took a break and a couple of hours later i installed the skunk2 exhaust. Much easier in comparison. Then i turned her on and oooohhhhhh YYYEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH! a VERY low tone. sounded like an EVO (i wish it were as fast as one ). Took her out for a spin and was very pleased. WOT was amazing. coasting the tone was not much loudr than stock until you put your foot on the gas! Hopefully my T1R intake will be here before thanksgiving along with the mugen strut tower bar. Then i am DONE for a while. maybe next spring a will put a tranny cooler in.

i will try to get some better shots tomorrow during the daylight.

Peace ALL!

Do you think the unshield exhaust manifold might cause problems in the bay? Looks pretty!!

Just wanted to ask if the myth pully is worth the money. Also is your car auto or stick. I was looking into getting the pully my self but wanted to ask about it from someone who installed it on their car first.

as for heat problems i have a scanguage and will be watching the engine and intake air temps for any difference.

I supported the front end on ramps and the back end on jackstands. the car was maybe 18-24 inches off the ground. Not much room to work with and it was very awkward. I really wanted to take pics during the process but the f'in battery was dead on my camera after i took the first pic so i had to charge it. Just took a couple of the end result.

I am taking a road trip shortly and i will take a few vids with the camera and try to put em up on youtube.

IMO the pulley is worth the dough. It revs noticably faster. I think when combined with other mods like I/H/E it would make a significant difference because the engine would reach optimal RPM quicker where the other mods have the most power (my own personal theory but i have no idea if it is fact).

When I opened the hood of my car I saw something on top of the Exhaust Mainfold, is it the heat resistant thing?? so that metal doesn't fit the Mugen Mainfold???
