Jdm Side marker Installed

since no one has found a template i ended up eye balling the side markers and using pics of other gd3's from other countries with side markers as
refrence...

Not bad, But I think the marker is a little more forward.

I think so too.

How did you go about drilling the new hole? Did you make your own template? And lastly, did you just splice the wires for it from the turn signals?

interesting, it looks close to the vertical accent line. I stil would prefer it toward the headlight more.

they look further away from the head lights because the USDM front is longer than JDM front end

True, but putting sidemarkers on a USDM fit doesn't mean you HAVE to put it to spec w/ a JDM front end. Just my opinion, I would have put it closer to the front end, maybe just an inch or so. If it was a JDM front end then maybe I'd say otherwise. Looks good either way, glad someone had the balls to finally do this =)

i spliced a positive to the positive to the running lights and the negative to the postive of the turning signal...

Cool, don't know a whole lot about the wiring.. So does that set it up to where it's on w/ parking lights or only on when using turn signals to blink?

I wish i red this thread earlier, I'd help you out. I have a AUDM Fit Vti-S, which basically JDM Fit -type S and it came with side markers. I'll try to take some picts and measurements this weekend, the Silvy just got out from body shop yesterday ...
