I found this spoiler on ebay, it says that it is a direct fit. I emailed the seller to make sure that there will be to extra drilling. I wanted to see what you guys thought of it. Here is the link:

It clearly states that wing is the Fabulous replica wing. Its not the J's spoiler.
Its the fabulous spoiler. And for $150 you cant expect much.

I dont think theres a J's product thats $200. Hahah. Roughly $250+ for anything.

Look's very suspect.I don't see where the bolt's(up top)are. It look's like there will be drilling involved.Pay a little extra and go with a brand name.It will be cheaper in the long run, then if you buy it,doesn't fit/or like well, then you have to buy another one.

That's what I was thinking, J's is top of the line and their spoiler is CF which seems to add $100 to already high prices. Ha ha

I love the way the Spoon and Seibon Duckbill look I am just not a fan of the blue cars with black rims and Carbon Fiber. I am not downing anyone who likes it that. I had my EK like that and everytime I looked at it I thought that it looked like a bruise. I guess my only option is to wait out a good quality non-cf duckbill. Anyone know when/where to find one? Thanks

I am in the market for a rear spoiler , I want to get an MG style, the one that sits up off the car a bit. and in my searching I have found on consistent , the few that were a direct bolt on were , well, expensive, and I guess what it makes me wonder is how darn much can 2 or 3 sets of nuts and bolts cost? Point is, it seems a very high premium to pay to get a top quality name brand.

I could be way wrong but I just don't see as to how the actual measure and drilling of a few holes can be that hard.

so for the style I want I seen cf which i'm not to keen on paying for... or ABS and FRP for sale at ebay for 100 ish... which of the two would be better? (each process seems to like to call the other cheap, and I'm sorta inclined to lean towards the ABS as the way to go as all the other body trim is ABS) ..or is there a "better" rear spoiler with a big name on it, that is affordable. mind you I do take into acct painting to be 100 ish as well, so thats 200 to 250 to get one from ebay and have it painted. is there such a M style wing to be had "brand name" or other wise, that is already painted to color match my VBP fit ?

hope OP don't consider this a Hi-jack, I feel it is along the same lines. sry if you think otherwise.

Ok guys.. heres some pics of that product.
i picked it up about two days ago and the seller was really nice. he said he used to drive a fit too.

but yeah.. here you go

compression between the stock and this one

what it looks like on the car

Now the bad part.. like I said earlier it doesn't fit that well on the car.
its not curved enough, not flush

another thing that will need moving is the back washer sprayer. it gets in the way. i even tried to move it, but no use.

my review of the product is this

Not perfect. but what do you expect for the price. not held on with screws, so thats a risk. I'm gonna see what i can do with it but i'm keeping it for sure. will post pics if i get done with it anytime soon. if you want it and are ok with the work that needs to be done with it, then get it. thats all i have to say. Hope this helps with some peoples decide what to do.

Red Ant, I'm not sure if I should say sorry or congrats

what is that ABS or FRP perhaps?

and have you gotten a price yet to paint it?
.... I ask as I wonder if my guesstimate of 100ish is in line. cause if its say 140 I will have to consider getting a CF , finished rear spoiler from Seibon,,, man thats only like 50 to 100 bucks more

SIGH .....
