dont use the airducts... just send them to me so I can use them! lol. JK

The Foglight surround is easier to cut than the CF, but if you ever want to remove the ducts you have to buy new ones. You can trim the CF with a dremel.

I agree with just using a dremel and trimming the CF. Its not that hard to do just be sure to tape off the area you want to trim so you dont slip and mess up the finish on it. You should be just fine

thanks for the advice, never thought about removing the fog surround before so no idea if that comes off or not..

as for cutting the carbon fibre, i have heard stories about the sharp strands breaking off therefore making the whole carbon useless..

to be honest, i wudnt have bought it if i had known it was only the one side, it cost like 220$, cud have been money well spent for 2 of them..

i have asked bodywork specialists who have suggested cutting the carbon, so i mite just leave it to the experts.. will let yous no how i get on wen i finally get round to doin it...

well after a month i have finally got round to doing somethin bout it..

as u can see from the pic the excess carbon has been sanded down and now fits round the fog surround like a glove..

as for actually fitting it, js provide u with 2 screws, that involves taking off front bumper and drilling.. do u reckon i could get away with tape only or would the screws be more secure, i really dont want to take off the front bumper, sounds like hard work and i have heard that it doesnt line up properly afterwards..

so pls suggest wat u reckon i shud do stick it on with tape or screw it on???

I would definitely screw it on. There aren't many contact points for double sided tape unless you padded the inside of the piece to increase the surface area to apply double sided tape. taking off the bumper is really easy actually, and you would only have alignment problems if you put it on wrong!

It should be similar. There should be two screws in your wheel well that attach the bumper to the fenders. Then there should be a few clips that you need to access with your hood open. Underneath the car, a few clips and screws that connect the bumper to the lining underneath the engine will need to be removed. Once you get all of that off, you should be dandy! Don't be afraid to give it a stiff tug out, it can take the abuse!
