Vented hood is more practical if you are replacing it IMO. If you are going to spend the money, getting more airflow under the hood is a nice incentive to go with the DV.


Another FitFreak on here; DaveVM has a vented hood (not sure if it is the same or not) on his SSM

What's the total weight savings over stock going to OEM-style carbon?

Looks really sweet BTW. I always see in my mind a CF spoiler and front lip to go with the CF hoods.

i like the oem style more, when i see those vented hood i always believe it must be packing some serious power lol

i think im going with OEM i like its.ryu's hood what brand is that, weave looks nice. that vented one the weave looks like somone's 200 year old grandmother on crack knitted it. lol

haha its my old seibon hood. it was a really really nice hood.

noooo. its_ryu's oem one. it used to be mine. i miss it. haha but i wont miss it once i get my spoon cf hood on!!!

nope! only jdm hoods. but its really really nice. tightest weave ive seen on a hood before. way tighter than my old seibon.

lol, I like both. The vented hood is a bit on the aggressive side but gives that much needed extra breathing room. The OEM is pretty sexy too, very sleek.
