remember JDM kits will not work on the USDM model unless you do lots of bodywork

 

I ordered a USDM ings replica rear bumper from HondaFitTuner.

Shipping was fast and im on the other side of the country but when you pay more to ship the part then you paid for the part go figure.

The piece is supposed to be getting test fitted, prepped and painted monday. I havent test fit it on the car yet so im not sure how there fitment is, but they did slap an ugly ass badge in the middle that im having the shop fill in the hole.

 

Keep us updated on the fitment. Wanted to order the ings one too

 

i tried contcting those guys at hondafit tuner and never got a reply. are they closed?

 

So i hear a usdm kit will not work on jdm fits?what is different?

 

bumper length. JDM is a few inches shorter than the USDM version

 

The nose on the JDM Fit is shorter due to different crash standards. So the bumper, hood, lights and front frame are different.

 

best way to contact honda fit tuner is by phone. Check the time zones though yours may be different.

Shop said they made minor adjustments. The part is painted and the hole is filled in where the badge was. I will be taking delivery of the car later on today. Cleaning it this weekend then trying to get an official photoshoot done.
