THE Rolling Fenders Thread
Someone posted a map of a very challenging road in the same area on Hootie's "Texas Meet Volume 6" thread... Maybe we should check it out while down there... Everyone needs to know in advance that there is no way in hell that you won't push your car beyond it's limits and possibly die by trying to keep up with Crazy Joe on any kind of road with tight curves.

Do you not think that I have gone beyond limits a time or two? I'm paying for it now with aches, pains and loss of mobility... The morphine helps a little but there are days that it doesn't. Being an adrenaline junkie catches up with you in time.
alright lets get this thread back on topic!
i rolled my fenders last week and the results are incredible. before rolling i would rub on big to medium sized bumps, but now i dont rub at all. even with three adults i barely rub on sharp turns. it took me about 3 hours to do all four corners, but it was worth it cause i only cracked paint on the inside of one well because i had to use a hammer to get the lip started. that could have been avioded if i had known a trick that my brother showed me.
inputs welcomed

I forgot to post here!
So on march 11th I rolled my rear fenders with the tire rack tool and heat gun. I am a complete amateur! It takes a lot of patients.. BUT! I got it done. I used to roll before but now i don't. My fenders used to like shave my rear tires on bumps and heavy in turn G loads. NO MORE!
it came out great! the right side is flawless but the left i got in a hurry and got 1 small paint crack. I don't give a damn though, fit belongs on a track and not a show room. lol
ill post pics later. my fenders are rolled to the max in the rear. looks like they have been pinched tight!
also! I have extended studs. this made it a BTICH to roll with the tire rack roller. I had to use an ass ton of washer to simulate oem length studs. just a heads up for you guys.

I'm thinking about getting wider tires one of these days so my finders will need to be rolled to make room for them... How big a tire will fit with them stretched as far as can without becoming semitransparent ????
i have no idea but im on 195/55/15 doing good
