GD CF spoiler availability?

So I tried reading through the exterior/styling forums, but couldn't find info on what I'm specifically looking for. My GD is a base model, and I'm trying to decide which spoiler to get.

I just want to know what other spoilers/wings in cf material are available for the GD. I've only seen Spoon, Mugen, and J's. Anybody else in here sporting other wings? Pics of the wings installed on the car would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
Jan

P.S. Please don't bash on me if there's a thread about this already and if there's none, please make it a sticky so that other (new) GD owners will find this. Thanks!

I have the Spoon CF spoiler and am very happy with it! I bought it when it first came out while it was still available. What kind of look are you trying to go for?

Thanks kalbo1! (I'm going to assume you're Filipino 'coz of your username)

I'm not really going for a certain look or theme, just want something clean and not too flashy.

My choice is really a Spoon wing, but I was looking on eBay and found this GD-R wing (or whatever replica it is) and I kinda like it as well. Or even an oem spoiler will do, but in carbon fiber.

And thanks for the pictures, it looks good! I hope it will look good on mine too even if I have the base model.

I would second going with the Spoon setup! I'm not sure about replicas though. We've installed some from ebay before and they seemed to have required a little more work to get it to Fit. The authentic Spoon spoiler will come with a template. Most replicas do not, making installation harder.

If you need more information regarding the Spoon CF wing, feel free to contact me via PM or email at info@aj-racing.com

Thanks.

the spoon duckbill is my favorite.. there are others that look nice as well but the spoon is the best looking IMO. kenken sells a replica one for around $200. unless u really want the real deal. which will be more obv. there also one for sale right now check out the FS section. i myself will be getting the spoon replica. i just really like the duckbill

Thanks for the opinions!

I've really liked the Spoon spoiler even before when I still had my 96 hatch. So I guess I'll be settling with the Spoon look, but I might get the Seibon spoiler 'coz the authentic Spoon one is so expensive.

Posting late to the party but I'm rocking a Carbon Creations spoiler on my GD. It's designed to use the factory sport mounts though, so might be a pain to install since you don't have those mounts.

Sorry, we meant Spoon "style" spoiler.

If I only had the sport then I wouldn't be having this dilemma. Might as well get something aftermarket if I'm drilling holes, right?

You might want to check out www.hondafittuner.com too. I haven't done any business with them but I know they have lots options. Aside from the Seibon CF Spoon style they also have:

Thanks, Tofuman!

I've checked their website a while back and seen those spoilers they have for sale. So far I'm still undecided between the Spoon style and the J's replica.

They both look nice, but it's a 60-40 right now favoring the J's replica.
