Great looking!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like it. I'll have to do mine. What did you do to clean the surfaces?
What was the cost of the material? And, where did you buy the materials?

It's very simple...theres no extensive prep, wet sanding, etc. needed. I just took off my wheels, washed them with meguiar's gold class and water, dried, and wiped every part down with isopropyl alcohol.

The alcohol is important (don't get any on your tires!) because I made the mistake of not putting it on my rear emblem and it didn't stick very well. The Plasti Dip is just layers upon layers of rubber paint so as long as you make multiple layers (i did about 4 on each) it should turn out just fine.

Luckily I got mine for super cheap! You can get black at almost any major hardware store now (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc.), but I couldn't find white anywhere so I just called Home Depot to see if they'd special order it for me and they said yes! So I actually got it for the price Home Depot pays for it which was a little less than 5 bucks a can. The only thing was that I had to buy the whole box (which is 6 cans), but I ended up using 3-4 and I'm gonna use the rest for touch up. 20 bucks is cheap for a temporary, but AWESOME mod

Oh...and it also comes in red.

They look great. Do you think that they will peel off, eventually, like rubber?

lol...yeah thats the whole point. it's just a temporary mod so you can easily peel it off when you get tired of it. you'll get rock chips and such, so i'm using the leftover cans for touch up. i've seen some DIYs on people who used Plasti Dip as a base and then used cool colors of regular spray paint and then just peeled it all off later.
