Need help about sideskirt

So i bought OEM Modulo sideskirts from Honda several weeks ago, the sideskirts are fine and have very good quality. Andthey were originally from Honda Thailand.

Now that these skirts are already painted and i was ready to install them by myself, i've noticed that they did not send me clips for me to screw in. They've sent every clamps, bolts, except these clips.

This is an illustration i've made, i left the sideskirts in my home so i don't have a kodak moment to show the problem.

As you see from the illustration above, the inner fender holes are square! how the hell am i going to screw this in ?

I've contacted Honda and talked to them, but they had no idea!! i mean WTF man! I live in indonesia and the service here is sucks ass..

So any ideas? I was thinking i could buy something like this, but i'm just not sure...:
Car Plastic Rivet Push Clip Fastener

This is the original rivet with no holes to screw in ( from inner fender )

The bolt that they've sent me, the idea is to screw this in between the skirts and inner fender.

My car with unpainted Modulo sideskirts :

So please help me O_O

I would drill a small hole (starter hole) into the square plastic piece and screw the side skirt in. Or you can buy these, but I'm not sure which size you would need

Yes, I meant the original rivet. You're welcome, and good luck! I wish we have more exterior goodies here

Thank you Black3sr, this is the exact catalog that the guy from Honda showed me..unfortunately this is the sport version ( or RS ) and this version is already equipped with sideskirts.
And these bolts and rivets are not compatible with my jazz ( base version or type S ).
I think the sport version has circle holes not square? Is there anyone can confirm this?

OK. Hmm I guess drilling a small pilot hole then should work.

connor55 on here put Mugen skirts on his Base. Maybe he can tell you how they went on?

Hey I just got your message. Can you measure the square hole you are talking about?

I remember having to install similar square clips when I put my side skirts on, I just want to be sure mine will work with your jazz!

So the square hole is exactly 8 x 8 mm..so your inner fender have square holes too then?

No problem. I will check mine later on today, I have to go to work now

Yes ours also have the square hole, so it is most likely the same size.

I'll also need to dig up my old parts invoice from when I did my sport conversion. I don't remember the part number for those square clips off the top of my head.

Okay I just checked and mine are also 8mm by 8mm. They actually look like the exact same clip in your earlier picture.

My best advice is either screw right into the clip, or google "bernardi parts"

Then select mugen fit GE, look for the mugen side skirts then click on the instructions link.

Look through the instructions until you find the front fender step, it will show you how they screw in the side skirt. I think there was a special insert.

Hope that helps!

Hey man, thanks for the quick response

After i've googled bernardi and read the instruction manual, I went to bodykit workshop and bought the grommets.
It was not a very good grommet though, it came in yellow colour..so i bought them anyway.
And just now i've tried to insert those grommet into the square hole and guess what? it did not fit !!! OMG, that seller probably gave me a fake or poor quality grommets..

So i've just decided to buy the OEM clip and yeah..drill em, that's probably the best solution so far..

Anyway i'll take a picture after them sideskirts are installed..maybe within a few days..

But thank you guys, and thank you Connor

God Bless America, everything comes with instruction manual =p

So i've broken my original rivets and finally i've ordered this :
Subaru Nylon Nut 62731-FA010

I know it's for subaru but the fitment hole is the same ( 8mm x 8 mm ).
I've contacted Bernardi parts, they do not sell these grommets that came with Mugen sideskirts.
Now i'm gonna have to wait about 3 weeks for the shipment to arrive.
