Alternative Use for Front Tow Hook Port
Alternative Use for Front Tow Hook Port
After a week of owning my new GK Fit, I first noticed the little round cover on the front bumper cover. It wasn't long before I figured out that this was where the supplied tow hook screws into. Mystery solved.
Thinking back to other gadgets that magically appeared on the fronts of other cars, I was reminded of that very sexy Aston Martin DB5 driven by James Bond in the movie Goldfinger. James had little use for a tow hook, but he often found himself in tight situations where these neat little hidden machine guns came in handy:

Would anyone here be interested in swapping their boring old tow hook for one of these rather radical attention-getters? Just think of how useful this gadget could be on your morning commute when traffic gets backed up. I would want mine controlled by a firing button on the shifter knob. Alternatively, it could be controlled by just flooring the accelerator. Hmmm.... I think I'd like the feel of that!

Owning? Definitely the Honda Fit, as I believe I would stand a better chance of it actually working properly so I could drive it more of the time. (There's also much more handy room for carrying ammunition home from the gun store when it's time to replenish the supply.)
I'm sure the good folks at MI6 keep the Aston well-stocked with ammunition (of every type.)
While the Aston Martin does have a back seat, I'd imagine James Bond might appreciate the "resting position" in the 2015 Honda Fit while relaxing on long journeys with any of his Bond girls.
