The wife and I love road trips... we live in the country where everything is 20 miles away... and our EK beater sedans AC went out. The wife wanted something nicer and I didn't have time to work on the beater and the race car at the same time... SO we went hunting for a Honda Fit.

We found a heck of a deal on a 2009 Sport with 52k miles, zero accident car, black on black with 16s. We have had it a week and its hauled mountain bikes, kegs, welder, etc. Since we live 1.5 miles from a paved road, its going to basically stay stock... though we already have weathertech floor mats and rain guards... I also have a canvasback cargo mat coming (takes 10 days to make and ship apparently). we will be driving it much more than the previous owner did...



The fit will be paying for itself in fuel savings. My wifes jeep wrangler (she works at the hospital and has to get to work even in the worst weather) and my Tundra (something has to tow the race car) hate gasoline with a passion. If I get too bored I might try to hunt down K swap parts on a budget... rarely do we keep things stock in our house.

its great to see EBP EM1s out on track. I race in Honda Challenge, H2 class, its like spec integra in that group. though we have several coupes now and two EBPs (including mine) out there.
