New to forum what's up
Just picked up a 2012 Honda fit, manual transmission. So far have tinted windows, put red honda badges on it, cleaned the hell out of it and put a HKS hi power exhaust paired with a AEM air filter in her. Looking to put 16x8 wheels on her, and will be mostly done modifying. This forum seems to have a lot of info, and people who love their little go karts mine is growing on me for sure. Look forward to feedback, ideas, and possible meet ups for ideas if people are in my general area. Thanks and keep pushing Fits everywhere!!!!!!

The 2012 or 2013 are somewhat regarded as the "sweet spot" in the model years, more refined than the early GEs and better designed than the GKs, so hopefully you end up agreeing with that and you like your car. I have a 2012 and it's not a perfect car but it's a very good one.
The 2nd generation Fits have problems with the #2 or #3 spark plug unscrewing itself and making an explosive escape. It's a remarkably Fiat kind of problem to have, but, we have it. Something to keep on top of. Valve adjustments are also an issue but it's not in the same catastrophic category.
If you like driving your car like a go kart, you will want to buy a progress rear sway bar asap. If you're going for "essential upgrades then enjoy it" that would be on many people's list. It's fantastic they even still seem to make the bars.
