Hello! New Fit owner in West Michigan!! I recently purchased a 2020 Fit EX w/CVT in Orange Fury. I've always liked the idea of the Magic Seats, but living with them is on a whole other level! I don't know why more vehicles don't have them.

As far as mods go, I've only gotten winter tires (Got the car in February) and removed the styrofoam insert over the spare tire and replaced it with plywood, so I have some extra storage underneath for jumper cables, first aid kit, and other similar items.

I'd still like to eventually add a tow hitch, and mod the taillights, so the pillars are actual lights instead of just being reflective.

 

Welcome aboard. I've been meaning to do the same with the trunk area. ActionJackson has a pretty good write-up on his, his even tilts on a hinge. I don't even carry juper cables anymore, I have one of those battery jump packs that serves the need pretty well.

 

I didn't even think of adding hinges!!

I'll have to check that out!
