New here, hello!
New here, hello!
Hey guys, wanted to introduce myself.
I am a first generation Honda Fit (2007) owner since 2017. The last owner of the vehicle was someone in Japan, and it's my first car ever gifted to me from my step-father because I had a first full time job around this time. I slowly learnt how to replace the air filter, and check the oil which is big for me since I know nothing about cars just that it goes vroom vroom from A to B but I've come to appreciate the complexity of vehicles and I want to get into the car scene.
You'll probably see me around a lot asking a lot of dumb questions about simple things, but hey - id rather ask strangers who also have the same car than be ripped off by a mechanic, or looked down on by men in my life. It was honestly a thrill to be able to replace my own headlight without asking for help, even declining help! I did have to ask my step-dad to help me find the 10mm socket cause it bounced away - I see why it's a bloody joke, it really just takes a vacation once it falls off. But besides that, I can do it on my own! I feel like such a kid, but it's all new to me.
Anyway, have a good week!
