Hi everyone, I recently became the proud owner of a 44k mile Midnight Plum Pearl 5MT Fit. I had a mustang before and wanted to get something that was basically exactly the opposite (mustang was heavy, dead steering, unreliable, bad gas mileage....)

Looking forward to getting to know more people in the Fit community & to do some mods, including:

- Android Auto + Backup Camera (+maybe sound system upgrades)
- Rear Sway Bar
- Wheels & Tires
- Coilovers, eventually
- Exhaust (hoping to find something not too loud but a little louder than stock)

 

Congrats on the Fit! Makes me miss my Midnight Plum Pearl. Yours has even lower miles than what mine had when I picked it up (54K).

Yeah, they're great cars. I especially love the GE8. I've owned all three generations available for the North American market and the GE8 is my favorite. Here's mine if you wanted to check out what I did to it and/or get some ideas for yours:

Oh yes, fully intending to get lost in that thread later. I haven't driven a GD3 or GK5 but a GE8 just seemed like the perfect balance.
