Just bought my 2019 Fit Sport with only 12k miles! Hello from Southern California! I've already got an appointment set Wednesday to have tint installed. :-p

Fit To Be TOAD

Hi

Just put a down payment on a 2019 EX 6 speed manual in North Carolina that has 26000 miles on the odometer. I live just north of Chicago so there's a plane trip in my future after the Lemon Squad inspects it and I complete the sale. It's equipped with a Blue Ox base plate and it has some sort of tail light wiring so I wanted the inspection mainly to make sure the wiring wasn't butchered. It also has a brand new set of tires on it so I suspect the total mileage to be around 40000. The car has a Honda powertrain warranty that runs another 8 months and up to 60000 miles. It looks flawless in and out-fingers crossed it is. My wife and I plan on flat towing it behind our motorhome and I'm going to use it as a winter car as I've just purchased a Lexus LC500 coupe that I don't want to drive in the snow. There was going to be a tow bar in the deal but it's bent, probably due to the previous owner backing up with the Honda connected and there doesn't appear to be a brake assist installed so there's still some spending in my future before it can be towed legally but the baseplate installation will help $often the blow. I've ALWAYS wanted a Fit-they've impressed me since they came out as they're the "Swiss Army Knife" of subcompacts, with their Magic Seat, a "little big car" that punches above its' weight. I can't wait to pick it up! Look forward to picking the brains of those Fit owners here that have gone before!

Sorry-didn't mean to steal your thunder. Thought I was starting a new thread. Congratulations! Sounds like a real cream-puff!
