Oh no! Kenchan! Did you ask amazon to use that picture? I think you just claimed that as your own!!

Sorry, had to tease about that...especially since it is one of the first pics I've seen you post. LOL.

New GTI huh? well I got a new civic...GTI's are off my radar now. My friend was telling me to buy his GTI, and while I thoroughly enjoyed the car, I can't beat honda reliability/piece of mind. =)

think im going to pull out the STI on sat. haven't driven it for over a week now.

get a dose of boxer engine sound and the classic hydraulic pump steering. luv the refined old skool theme on the car.

added some air to both GTI and GK. GK needed a little bit of coolant so added and proceeded to drop my faking flashlight into the engine bay. lol

magnet tool to the rescue. good thing the GK's engine is so tiny lots of space to access

have a great saturday!

so this am weather wasnt going to hold up for too long so decided to take the STI for a short spin mainly to get gas. even though it was only like a 40min drive, i still had a great time and the air was cool so felt real nice.

got home, QD'ed the car, then worked on making markers in the R's diffusers on the inner lip so that i can tell where the jack points are. car isn't lowered but she is pretty low to start with in addition to the factory rockers + side diffusers, i have to literally find the jack points by touch. i cant see the jack points even with my head on the ground. lol

i made 8 tiny mouse hole marks on the diffusers using my rotary tool. now i just need to place my rubber jack adapter (like a thick hockey puck) between the mouse holes and im set. the marks aren't visible from the outside... i still have to get down real low to see them.

Hey kenchan, you have some awesome rides! How long do you plan on keeping them? It looks like you are quite the car aficionado!

I just bought a 2017 GTI S last week.

Thanks! I will have fun going through your blog and checking out all the cool things you've done with your GTI and R as inspiration.

I attached a picture from this past weekend.

definitely get the ODB11 especially enabling you to completely turn off traction control. you can't do this with just holding down the traction control button.

i also have LED's in all the lamps too.

Just starting the job

I've had an NSX-R shift boot sitting around for a year and a half...may as well toss it in. I'm trying to sort out some small details on the car before this weekend; going to see some friends who haven't seen the thing in person yet so I want it to be as good as it can be.
