Good reference and very true shinjari!
They have yet another bias, but I try to listen more to NPR and sources outside of the country. Our news networks have become so biased on one side or the other that the information they spread is nearly just entertainment with little fact.

San Diego is pretty much 70s year round haha.
Spain....maybe certain areas. But when we were there in August....the humidity and heat were pretty high. I cant read non-retard units...aka Celsius...but it was typically around 30c give or take.

alright got done with the meeting and now taking it easy after downing some local cheese burger.
so i got a newish mazda cx5 today as a rental.. a good learning experience for me. i heard mazda had greatly improved their interior so my expectations was maybe a little too high cause i was not impressed. sure i see some euro cues here and there but nowhere near the quality of my autobahn GTI or Golf-R. the biggest issue was the cheese arse buttons on the steering wheel and the color and finish of the metallic painted bits. all done in poor taste.
otherwise the seating position wasn’t horrible, adaptive cruise worked fine, auto wipers worked okay too. not enough power but expected. ride itself is soft and for a suv acceptable. too bad mazda is still dat japanese hyundai of a car.

It's painful for me to admit, but Hyundai and Kia are actually better than a fair amount of other car brands.
I'm curious to see how the Stinger GT holds up and to see how it progresses. It's my type of car overall.

Yeah I like the way styling of the new mazdas. Haven't been in one or driven one.
Also agree the Hyundai's and Kia's are high up there on the 'cars worth looking at' list. That stinger GT is neat. The rear end needs to grow on me...its...'ok'.
Yesterday I got my engine bay covers from Hong Kong. $35 for the pair vs the $100/ea OEM from the UK. These should've come from the factory. Cleans up the engine bay so much.
Came with the necessary plastic body clips and I only had to drill (1) on the passenger side. The cover had a hole for a clip....but the frame didn't. Besides that I'm very happy with it.
Also! Saw this cherry looking Supra the other day and forgot to share.

I could see that working well.
VW focus on smaller stuff and Ford focus on the larger stuff.
Basically let VW do the car engineering and let Ford do the SUV/Truck stuff. The new Atlas we had as a loaner was a complete pile. Any Ford SUV (explorer, expedition, edge) is a better vehicle. On the flip side, Fiesta/Focus/Fusion could certainly use some VW engineering to improve their interiors and maybe beef up their drivetrains.
