shinjari, I just think it's really cool that you're able to adjust!

The only way I can change the tune on my Lincoln is to get multiple tunes from tuners and load them on the device. Switching between tunes requires a complete reflash that's not super fast.

Can you adjust on the fly or is it a reflash with engine off?

I can do both a complete reflash which takes about 5 minutes...but the tune I load with a reflash can have 3 'modes' which I can do on the fly with the cruise control buttons. Its pretty freaking slick.

The pic is for the SI....they have normal and sport mode. For me, it shows up as ECO and Normal lol.

slow fast week dis week. no travel = more time for car action hope to motor in my Golf-R dis weekend. havent driven the car in over 2 weeks again.

insurance likes to follow up with me from time to time on how much milage on my hobby cars since both on leisure car policies. not dat dey would penalize me for higher miles.. dey will just adjust my policy accordingly. STI has like just a hair over 10k miles. bought feb 2016. my Golf-R has like 5k miles bought last may? i give dem a hypothetical limit of 5000miles every yr per car which i never reach. dd i drive about 9k per year.. rest are all rental cars while traveling.

have a good wednesday everyone!

Thats not bad. I'm barely at 8.5k after 13 months of ownership. Kinda bummed I didn't get anything from honda america for my 1year ownership. =(

Back to those konig Ultraform wheels I was looking at. The guy is ready to sell them now....I was able to find on ebay for $600 after coupon for the same set. Thinking of offering $500-525 for his. No hurry since I know I can get them on ebay for nearly just as inexpensive.

Didn't see anything I 'needed' on Buyee haha.

Happy Hump Day!

Our VW is nearing 30k miles and is one year old I just scheduled an appointment for Friday to get the oil changed. I did the 5, 15, and 25k oil changes and had the dealer do the 10, 20, and now 30k. I'll keep that up until the 60k service when the powertrain warranty expires. Then I'll just do them all at home.

I put 30k miles on my Lincoln over the past 2 years and a few thousand on the Fit. The Lincoln miles would be lower if we stopped visiting her parents in OH and mine in FL. I also have 2-3 business trips each year that I drive instead of fly. Fly for the others. Would fly more if it didn't take 2 hours to get to the worlds worst airport (ATL).

Speaking of which...it took me 5 hours round trip to take the wife to the airport last Friday. About 3 1/2 of those were at an average speed of like 10mph. It's unfathomable to me why millions of people live outside that city and commute in each day. The traffic is unbearable 24/7.

Got my steering wheel. It's a good thing I work from home so no one can see me holding a steering wheel and making motor noises at my desk

Could be worse...you could be dealing with Fit owners that think there's not a greater car. LOL

Other than a couple grand more money, can anyone here in our little corner of FitFreak think of anything not better about the Civic 1.5t Hatchback compared to the Fit? Civic handles better, rides smoother, is quieter, gets better mileage, is faster, has more interior room. Guess the Fit wins for ease of parking and...

To be fair, if not made at the Mexico plant, they are also trouble free. I can't ask for more than ours has given us as far as trouble free miles.

And it will soon have another Mugen part. How can you go wrong? (insert small, slow car joke here LOL)

Yummy!

Leftovers here again. I have to learn how to cook for fewer people. I usually overshoot by like double. With just the two of us I'm overshooting by triple.

Neighbor just begged me to come clean her CR-Z. She's not a car person, but takes really good care of her stuff and doesn't trust anyone else. I'm flattered. Told her I'll be over in the morning to analyze the situation and maybe start the process.

I'll have to channel my inner kenchan!
